We Collaborated With Aston Villa Football Club

At F2D in the Community, we are always proud to deliver our entrepreneurship workshops in schools, colleges, and community settings. But one of the highlights of our work has been our ongoing collaboration with Aston Villa Football Club Academy.

Over several weeks, we had the pleasure of working with the academy players, guiding them through our Entrepreneurship & Clothing Brand Programme. Each player explored the fundamentals of business—idea generation, branding, marketing, and financial planning—before taking on the exciting challenge of creating their own clothing brand. By the end of the programme, every player left with a finished product, something tangible they could call their own.

The workshop wasn’t just about business skills; it was about self-belief, creativity, and transferable life skills. Throughout the process, we mentored the players to help them see the value of thinking like entrepreneurs, making smart decisions, developing resilience, and preparing for life both on and off the pitch.

We were humbled by the positive feedback from both the players and the club staff, who told us how much they valued the experience. Many of the players shared how much they enjoyed the chance to step outside their comfort zone and channel their creativity in a whole new way. The staff have now become friends of our organisation, and we’re delighted that Aston Villa FC have already booked us in for the new season.

This ongoing collaboration means we’ll not only continue to deliver our workshops but also further develop the brands and products the players created with us. Watching their ideas grow and evolve is an exciting journey we’re privileged to be part of.

At F2D in the Community, our mission has always been to inspire the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers, and it’s fantastic to see that work happening with such a prestigious academy. We can’t wait to see what the next season brings!
