F2D ITC is an official AQA Accredited Learning Centre

F2D in the Community is Now an AQA Accredited Learning Centre

We are proud to announce that F2D in the Community is now an official AQA Accredited Learning Centre, having successfully completed the AQA Unit Award Scheme accreditation process.

This milestone means that students who take part in our F2D Entrepreneurship Project Workshop now have the opportunity to earn nationally recognised AQA Unit Award certificates, alongside the practical enterprise, creative design, and teamwork skills developed throughout the programme.

What This Means for Students

Learners who successfully complete the F2D Entrepreneurship Project will be able to achieve one or more AQA Unit Awards, providing formal recognition for the work they complete.

These AQA certificates:

  • Are nationally recognised and awarded by AQA

  • Can be used throughout a student’s life on CVs, college applications, apprenticeship applications and job applications

  • Recognise skills including entrepreneurship, creativity, teamwork, communication and leadership

  • Support learners who may not always thrive in traditional exam-based settings

  • Help build confidence through externally recognised achievement

  • Contribute towards a wider portfolio of evidence for progression and careers planning

  • Support schools in meeting careers education and Gatsby Benchmark objectives

The exact titles of each AQA Unit Award linked to the programme will be confirmed and shared shortly. Importantly, the structure of the F2D Entrepreneurship Project allows students the opportunity to achieve more than one AQA Unit Award within a single workshop, across a range of subject areas linked to enterprise, creativity and employability.

What Students Will Experience

As part of the F2D Entrepreneurship Project, students will:

  • Work collaboratively to develop a business or enterprise idea

  • Create a brand and slogan

  • Design and produce a finished product as part of their team

  • Explore marketing and promotional strategies

  • Deliver a professional pitch or presentation

  • Take home the product they created as a tangible outcome of their learning

Adding Real Value to Student Outcomes

By combining practical, hands-on enterprise learning with AQA-accredited recognition, the F2D Entrepreneurship Project provides students with meaningful outcomes they can evidence, celebrate and build upon as they progress into further education, training or employment.
